Batch #6 has started and we are pleased to be able to get started with six new startups since January. You can find more information about the individual startups and how they want to redesign tomorrow's healthcare system here.

But now the stage belongs to those we care about: our first six OHA startups. They were able to convince our partners the most of themselves on pitch day and we are delighted to be working with them.
The stage is yours!

meliodays develops MelioOne, the first hormone-free coil with integrated pain reliever to relieve period pain. MelioOne fights inflammation in the uterus directly and thus enables effective pain relief without affecting the natural cycle. Thanks to local use, the dose remains minimal and works without systemic side effects. Our goal: to sustainably improve women's quality of life and to make healthcare more equitable.

MonsterShack develops solutions that help children develop and maintain healthy habits through play and individual storytelling. Our first product, the ItchyMonsters app, playfully promotes the treatment of young atopic dermatitis patients: children are motivated to apply cream regularly through virtual “ItchyMonsters”. In addition, ItchyMonsters improve collaboration between parents, children and doctors through an integrated diary function and the meaningful use of AI in data evaluation.

Psychosomatic complaints affect millions but often remain misunderstood. With KaarloDoc, we offer psychological counseling on our website and soon KaarloTherapy will be adding digital therapy via app. Our goal is to revolutionize psychosomatic care and make quick help available.

Skleo Health brings eye health to where people are — to places of daily life such as opticians and pharmacies. With modern eye imaging, AI-based analysis and medical validation, they enable early detection of eye diseases and help prevent them. The aim is fair access to eye health for all population groups — regardless of origin, age or income — for a better quality of life and sustainable prevention.

InsightJourney is an innovative, gamified app based on evidence-based principles. Developed by Victoria Amo at the Max Planck Institute, the app combines psychotherapy approaches to promote emotion regulation and metacognition. In the app, difficult emotions take the form of cute little monsters that users can catch to learn to accept and deal with them better. The focus is on pediatric mental health, but it is also available for adults.
