Batch #0

About the Batch

After many months of pre-planning and conception, the OHA was able to launch Batch #0 at the beginning of January 2022. Why Batch #0 We also see ourselves absolutely as a start-up and would like our first funding period to be understood as prototypes: Well planned and with a common thread, of course, but also open to change and continuously adaptable to the needs of our startups.

These are the OHA startups

But now the stage belongs to those we care about: our first six OHA startups. They were able to convince our partners the most of themselves on pitch day and we are delighted to be working with them.

The stage is yours!

Benet

For a healthy workplace

Benet is an app for individual prevention & health promotion at the (home) office workplace. Persistence in non-physiological postures and permanent lack of exercise in front of digital devices lead to illnesses. Using augmented reality, Benet teaches how to position equipment ergonomically and to check posture to prevent incorrect posture. The team around Jessica and Johannes Hengelage as well as Katharina and Robin Huse also provides personalized advice on behavioral prevention.

HealthX Future

The digital collaboration platform for all professional carers.

HealthX Future bundles the entire collaboration relating to inpatient and outpatient care for the elderly in one app. The platform enables intuitive, privacy-compliant collaboration between caregivers — within an organization and across sectors. For example, everyone involved in the care process can exchange patient-related information, share documents, collaborate and document digitally. In this way, the two founders Felix Landmesser and Hendrik Hasler demonstrably want to relieve caregivers.

Meal&heal

The nutritional solution for indigestion

43 million people in the DACH region suffer from a diet-related illness. However, the potential of nutritional medicine is not being fully exploited — and Michelle Hoffmann, Stefan Wobbe and Lukas Jochheim are tackling this problem with their start-up. meal&heal is a digital system that recognizes the connections between complaints and lifestyle factors and can identify triggers. Based on this, those affected can be supported with an individual nutrition concept via the app.

Innnow

Innovation management software in hospitals

The innnow (innovation now) team is developing a platform to enable the digitalization that is urgently needed in healthcare facilities. The challenges are channeled, prioritized and conveyed to the appropriate experts by users from all specialist departments. With this interdisciplinary, sustainable approach, sisters Anna and Lena Frommer want to invest in digitization where it is needed for the best possible patient treatment.

Refined Laser Systems

Laser systems as key technology for optical tumor diagnostics

Refined's patented laser technology makes it possible to differentiate between healthy and tumor-like tissue during surgery. The aim of the two founders Max Brinkmann and Tim Hellwig is to avoid further operations during breast surgery because diseased tissue could often not be completely identified and removed. Founded in 2019 from the University of Münster, the start-up is pursuing an ambitious plan to avoid stress for patients and costs for the healthcare system.

Lucoyo

Lucoyo digitizes the path to psychotherapeutic help. People looking for help receive targeted support up to successful contact. For psychotherapists, Lucoyo offers a partially automated system for organizing inquiries and their waiting list. The time spent on the phone is reduced by 90% and the email inbox remains clear.
