In our six-month program, we support you in your individual challenges — in a targeted manner and with a strong network
What can you expect from the OHA program?
At OHA, we place great importance on ensuring that every team, regardless of its stage of development, gains something from the program. We therefore want to work with you individually, tailoring our approach to the challenges you face as a healthcare start-up. You will be assigned a start-up manager who will support you and connect you with relevant players from our network. In our six-month program, we offer workshops on topics such as refinancing, regulation & approval, marketing & sales, and much more. Much of this can be done remotely. In addition, we provide you with a ‘temporary home’ by offering you work opportunities in our co-working space. You will also benefit from regular exchanges with other start-ups in the batch as well as our alumni start-ups.
What are the eligibility requirements?
Appropriate development phase
Your startup is in the pre-seed, seed, or early growth phase and is thus at the beginning of its entrepreneurial journey, but has already taken the first steps to implement its idea.
Maturity level of the idea
Applicant teams should be beyond the pure concept phase – ideally, there should already be a minimum viable product (MVP) or a clearly validated prototype.
Full commitment
The founders show full commitment both for their own solution and for the OHA program and are ready to actively participate in the development of their startup.
Your way into the OHA batch
Application
Simply apply via our application form on the homepage by answering a few questions about yourself and your startup and uploading a pitch deck. The application windows are twice a year in April and October.
Pre-selection
Based on the applications received, the OHA team and our partner network will decide which startups will be invited to our Pitchday (at the beginning of May and beginning of November).
Pitchday
At our pitchday, the OHA team and partner network will get to know you better. There is a 10-minute pitch followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
Selection
After the pitchday, the partner network and the OHA team will decide which 5-6 startups will be included in the batch.
Takeoff
The batches take place every six months, starting at the beginning of January or at the beginning of July (sometimes in August).
Onboarding
At our onboarding workshop, you will get to know the OHA team and the other startups in the batch and we will lay the foundation for further joint cooperation. In doing so, we focus on your respective challenges.

We want to work specifically with you and therefore rarely offer general workshops, but workshops that focus on healthcare.
Our partner network now comprises around 60 partners related to healthcare. With us, you get direct contact with these players who will support you on your journey.
With us, you can help shape the program. Based on your challenges, we adapt our workshops and coaching sessions.
