Batch #8

About the Batch

Our batch #8 started in January 2026. We are once again happy to support five exciting startups over the next six months.

These are the OHA startups

But now the stage belongs to those we care about: our first six OHA startups. They were able to convince our partners the most of themselves on pitch day and we are delighted to be working with them.

The stage is yours!

reDreamAI

App to combat pathological nightmares

ReDreamAI combats the underrated problem of pathological nightmares. The AI-based app guides users through evidence-based Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (IRT) to positively transform dreams. RedreaMai starts with B2C for feedback through rapid market entry and develops solutions for health insurance companies and psychologists. Developed by Osnabrück researchers and validated through its own study, the young start-up closes the therapeutic supply gap and effectively reduces the suffering of those affected.

Renephro

Individualized dialysis technology

Renephro is developing a patented MedTech technology that fundamentally takes hemodialysis forward. At the heart is an intelligent mixing module that, for the first time, adapts the composition of the dialysis fluid to specific patients in real time. This makes treatment more individual, stable and better tolerated — with the aim of reducing complications and sustainably improving the quality of life of dialysis patients.

smartcor

Quick and reliable evaluation of ECGs

smartcor is a platform for smartwatch ECG. Patients can easily and securely transfer an ECG via an app, and doctors can conveniently diagnose and manage them. Cardiac arrhythmias are still underestimated and underdiagnosed. Smartwatches can help identify heart rhythm disorders. With our Smartcor app, a smartwatch ECG can be submitted easily and securely for medical evaluation in order to save travel and waiting times and to make diagnoses earlier.

The smart sensor topper to prevent decubitus

Blackpin.IoT is revolutionizing the care market by developing a smart sensor bed mat topper for decubitus prevention, which offers 24/7 patient monitoring and AI-supported evaluated movement and storage data via highly encrypted IoT interfaces. The mat provides nurses and relatives with specific recommendations for action and helps to alleviate the burden on the care market in nursing homes and outpatient care — a networked ecosystem of humans and machines.
