Batch #9

About the Batch

We started in August 2026 with six new startups and are thrilled to support these innovative minds and ideas through the end of January 2027!

These are the OHA startups

Now the stage belongs to the people we're focusing on:

tio health

Reassured in the early years of childhood

tio health is developing the digital information and communication layer for pediatrics. Their multilingual solution captures relevant information from families before their doctor's visit, prepares it in a structured format for practice teams, and reduces avoidable communication and documentation efforts. With this, tio aims to support pediatric practices so they can care for more children – with more time for every single child.

JawBuddy

Guided exercises for jaw, head, and neck pain

Teeth grinding and chronic temporomandibular joint disorders affect millions of people, yet treatment has historically focused only on symptoms. JawBuddy changes this with a digital self-therapy solution that combines algorithmically generated therapy plans, computer-assisted symptom tracking via smartphone camera, and behavioral guidance in an evidence-based app. Certified as an MDR Class I medical device.

Leon Rauch
Luma Life

Marvin Berthold
rSonate

Bonding before the first breath

rSonate is an Osnabrück-based startup that makes sound during pregnancy a family affair. Two pods on the belly and an app measure how the body is currently transmitting sound before each session, adjusting the signal beforehand so that voices and music reach the child clearly rather than muffled. A sound program grows with the child, from the heartbeat to familiar voices, and continues after birth. Non-invasive, limited to 65 dB, patented.
